I need to know how I can tell her how I feel without actually saying, "Hey, I like you!"

Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
Okay, I really like this girl. Maybe even love her. She and I have known each other for over a year, and we have had some pretty deep conversations. We also have alot of fun together, and talk anytime we can. I've had feelings for her since we met at a camp, although it wasnt till the last day that I knew I like her. My problem is that I want to tell her how I feel, but I'm afraid it might damage/ruin, or even end our friendship. I know that I cant live at least without her friendship, but I need to know how I can tell her how I feel without actually saying, "Hey, I like you!" Like I said before, it's all in fear of losing our great friendship that we already have.

Our Suggestion:
When you are alone sometime tell her that you are "developing feelings" for her. If she asks you what you mean, tell her that you feel like you like her. If she doesn't respond, tell her you will give her some time to think it over.

Emphasize that your friendship is the most important thing to you and you don't want to jeopardize your friendship.

She should be delighted to hear that you like her.

Good luck!
George
