Visitor's Question:
Hello,

I am a 26 year old single male. All through high school I had a friend of mine who I really liked. We never became more than friends and we lost communication for about 2 years. 5 years ago I ran into her again and we hung out for a few weeks but again we lost communication again. A year later (so 4 years ago) my mother ran into her at the local grocery store and she was asking my mother all these questions about me like I was doing and what not. Then about 10 months ago I went into the store and saw her. We talked for a few minutes and I got her number but I never called her. I guess I would say I am a little nervous becuase it has been so long. STil to this day my mother tells me that everytime she sees this girl at the store she is asking about me. I do not knwo what to think of it. I do not know what to do. I would like to go see her and get to know her again but I guess I am just nervous. Again I still have her number with me. The one thing that has always bothered me is when we were younger her friends would always tell me she had a crush on me but whenever I would try to take the friendship to the next level she would say she was not interested in that way. Yet here it is 5 years later and she is asking all these question to my mother all the time. Any advice or suggestion as to what I should do and as to why she might continue to this day ask my mother about me when she claimed there was no interest than as friends. Thank you for any advice. Thank you.

Sincerely,
J.

Our Suggestion:
One good way to find out is give her a call and ask her out.

Perhaps she has good memories of you and wants to give you a try. You'll never know if you don't ask.

Remember faint heart never won fair lady.

If the number is no good anymore, ask your mother to get her phone number next time she sees her.

Good luck!
George
