Visitor's Question:
Okay, this is complicated!!! This guy and I grew up together and have been around each other our entire lives. However about 5 years ago his parents divorced and our families lost touch of each other, but the two of us didnt. I had a "crush" on him about four years ago but I let it go, because I didnt think that there was any chemistry between us. This past year, he went off to the army and wrote our family every week, but he didnt write ME in particular, however, I did write him back my own personal letter. He was released from the army for two weeks for Christmas, and during that time the two of us had sex after a night of drinking. I wasnt able to tell him bye before he left to return to the army. He was discharged from the army about 3 months later due to an injury. We have had sex about 6 times since then. Before, during, and after, we hardly speak to each other at all. I am CRAZY about him. BUT I am so so so so so afraid of telling him how I truly feel. For one I am scared of rejection, for two I dont want to lose or feel weird around the person that I grew up with, and three I dont want my heart broken. PLEASE HELP ME!!! I AM LLLOOOSSSTTT!!!!

Our Suggestion:
Break it to him gently.

Tell him "You know I think I am developing feelings for you." See what he says. If he is weak in his response then you know you have a hill to climb. But, maybe he will say he feels the same way too.

Then again, it may be too soon after his military experience for him to know how he feels. Help him express his feelings. If you know you are going to have sex that evening try to have dinner beforehand so you can share feelings and get some talking in.

Work hard at helping him express himself verbally. Seems he has difficulty in that area.

Good luck to you!
George
