Visitor's Question:
Hello ladies and gents. You have a great site! Anyway Here's the situation. Theres a woman, unlike any other, that ive been after for almost 2 years now. I had to be subtle cause she had a bf untill march of this year. Certain circumstances kept me from seeing or talking to her from may until august when she ran into a friend of mine and asked why I had not been around. Since we've been back in contact, things are picking up. We finaly talk on the phone, email each other, dated when scheduals allowed(only twice so far) flirt nicely and are getting to know each other more and more. Unlike her thoughtless and none romantic and passionate ex. I pop in with little gifts of affection from time to time whether its a rose or roses, a small trincate of any kind, a stuffed animal or even her fav drink from starbucks. I always compliment her, never go 2 far just enough and try so hard not to try so hard if that makes any sence. Well its been sometime since she broke up with "him" but they still see each other. She broke it off 1st and seemingly has no desire to take him back yet puts up with continuing arguments and drama without so much as one thing from him in 2 years that I do on a weekly basis. I hear it in her voice and see it in her eyes that she knows there's no happy, loving, romantic future between them but still she wont yet let go 100%. Im 24 and she's almost 20. I had the same girl for 8 years n cut it off, they only had a year and a half. Whats the deal here? What do I do? This is the ONLY woman I want PERIOD. I wait patiently and continue to pursue but its starting to hurt. I know she likes me in that way but....Im really lost. Am I doing something wrong? Should I just give up on what I whole heartedly believe with all I am...The love of my life??? Please help!!!

Our Suggestion:
No, you shouldn't give up on what you whole-heartedly believe in.

As I see it you are in a fine position. The only complain I hear is that she has not 100% cut ties with her ex.

A lot of people are like that with their ex. Some will remain best friends after the break-up. I think you should thank your lucky stars that you and she are so close and stop worrying about her ex.

Good luck! George
