Does he Want to Marry Me?

Suggest Advice

Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
hi, My problem is that i have a friend 6 years ago and i feel that he makes too many things that does not mean other than he loves me as, he always remembers every little details about me, my occasion, my problems, and my pains.

he also give excuses for things he is doing so i don't feel jealous although i dont ask for that. he always remembers me with smaall presents even without occasion.

He also stands and sits very neer to me to the extend that some times i feel shy or hold my hand.

i asked him and insisted to know what does that mean but he did not answer and he insists not to answer. but he still ask about me.

I don't understand what he is doing, is he relly in love with me, is he serious?

I want also to mention that he is a shy type of person, serious and very much resposible but a loser in his normal life. he is also kind always with me.
Beside that he may not aford to much for getting married.

I need to know if he really loves me and wants to marry me but these are his problems or he does not love me and i'm just a deep friend in his life and he only held my hand (the time he did) because i was upset

thank you for your help in advance

Our Suggestion:
I think it's way too early to be thinking about marriage, if you guys aren't even dating yet!! Marriage is about two people who have been seriously involved with each other for many, many months, and who talk constantly and know each other inside and out. If you guys are having trouble talking and aren't dating yet, you need to work on that first.

If he's serious, kind, and responsible, how can he be a loser? A loser is someone whose character has serious flaws. It sounds like this guy has a very good character. You then go on to talk about the money he has for marriage. Money has NOTHING to do with people being happy together. The last thing a woman should look for in a guy is money. I can tell you about thousands of people who have money and are miserable. I can also tell you about thousands of people who are poor and who are perfectly happy together. The most important thing you can have in life is someone who you love and who loves you. Together, you can find ways to be happy, even with only a little money.

It sounds like you really need to sit down and reevaluate your priorities in life. You have this wonderful guy who cares about you and you are looking down on him as a "loser" because he's not rich enough. Why not, instead, find ways to go for walks with him, spend time with him, go to free nights at the art museum with him, start dating him. You might realize that being with him gives you far more happiness than money could buy.
