Visitor's Question:
i have a problem. I cant seem to find a date, ive seen every type a guy with a girl but theyre in like grade 10, and i know its not me, some of these guys are weaker and more unattractive than me im in grade 9 right now, is it because of that.

maybe its cause its too early perhaps, im told i have potential if u know what i mean. i have many friends who are attractive girls but no date. Ive been turned down by this girl i really loved once so im worried and insecure please help me, tell me whats happenin.

P.S. i am not a swine or a pig and treat women nicer than i would treat myself. I AM VERY NICE TO GIRLS, I ALWAYS SMILE AND I NEVER EVEN TEASE whats wrong. SHOULD i like be more open and greet more often and be less worried HELP

Our Suggestion:
Ninth grade is actually very early for many people to start dating. You have to remember that right now your "pool of available girls" is relatively small. You're only looking in your one school - and probably just with the girls in your classes! That's a tiny, tiny little pond of girls compared to all the girls that exist in the world. There are easily thousands of girls in your area who would be perfect for you, and it's a matter of fate having you and them meet.

Definitely being nice to girls and treating them well is key. But it also comes down to you being able to meet a girl who is a good match for you, which may not have happened yet. So think about the hobbies you have. What sorts of things do you really enjoy doing? Now actively look around your area to see if there are any clubs for that sort of thing. If you like mountain biking, maybe there's a mountain biking group. And so on.

If you find a club that enjoys your hobby, there will probably be girls in it. And as they love what you love, that's always a sure fire way to find girls that will be fond of you! But don't rush it. Lots of people don't date until 10th grade, and it's SO much better to date someone you really like rather than dating someone just to 'have a date'.
