Visitor's Question:
Hiya,
I've been looking through many of the personal advice pages and I'm suprised to find that there are so many people out there that have been in the same situations as I am. Anyways...

here is this girl I like very very much (we are both 15), but I wonder if she likes me in return (as in more than a friend). On MSN, she usually starts the convos (no one else starts convos with me unless its about homework grrr) Whenever she walks by she usually looks at me and smiles. She laughs at all of my jokes even if they arn't funny.
So it may seem obvious that she may very well like me but theres also things that throw me off believing that such as sometimes on MSN she takes a long time sometimes to reply, and doesn't seem to try hard to hold the convosation, also at times when I pay her a flirty compliment, she just laughs a bit or says 'ok'.

I'm not doing anything like smuggling to too much or talking to her EVERY time I can, as I'm trying not to make it to obvious that I like her a lot and respect her personal space and privacy.
But when we talk in real-life (we arn't in any of the same classes nore do we eat lunch together so its not so often occasions or in an after-school activity)We get on so well (people even commented on how cute we are together).

With all this in mind, do you think she likes me more than a friend? Or is it not enough info to tell. Sometimes I think that she does all the positive things because shes figuredo ut that I like her and is trying to get me to ask her out so she can reject me and get it over with :(. But I am known to have all these negative thoughts and to exagurate the negativity in things (which I may have done in the off-putters part of this question).
Thanks so much in advance

Our Suggestion:
My advice is to get your rear in gear!

She obviously likes you but is probably playing the same as you are--pretending not to like the other one as much as you really do.

The next time you are are chatting (in person or on line) tell her you like her and ask her to go out... walking, biking, dining, whatever.

She will probably say yes. If she says yes, then great. If she says no, you have gotten some real-life practice asking a girl out so you will be more ready for the next one.

Good luck! George
