Do you have some advice for this person?

Visitor's Question:
My boyfriend and I have been together for going on two years now and we haven't once told each other that we love one another. I do love him and I want him to know how I feel, but at the same time I am afraid that it will jepordize the "relationship" that we do have. Is this a mistake, or should I just say it and see what happens?



Our Suggestion:
If you are considering marrying him, you had better get this over with asap. You can't have a marriage without ever saying I love you.

If this is just a LTR with no special goal in mind then it's up to you whether you want to risk jeopardizing it by saying I love you. My advice is to say it because that is how you feel and you should be sharing your feelings to have a good relationship.
