Well, I don't know what to do. people think of me as the type a person who just wants to have sex, and I don't want that. I want to know if I am trying to hard on getting a relationship or I am just desperate which maybe the case. I just want to have someone be that special someone who I look forward to each and every day.

Just let people know what you are looking for: a special person that you look forward to seeing each and every day.

Don't worry about trying too hard or looking desperate. You are probably not either of those but just worrying.
