Visitor's Question:
I met this girl at the end of my senior year of college. At first, I did not like her at all. But after hanging out wit her and her friends, I found out that had alot in common and she was basically everything I was looking for in a girl. After hanging out wit her, I could tell that she really liked me. She even gave me a lil heart felt presnet and at that point I feel for her. However, when I asked her out, she wont go. She became scared. We are good friends but I try all the time to get her to go out but she never wants to. She hasnt been out on a date since her last boyfriend over a year ago. I have heard every excuse imaginable why she wont date me now but she says maybe down the road. It was recently her bday and her friends told me she wanted me around for that. I showed up and got her a cute lil present. I made her day. However, again not date and she became scared. A couple days later I told her how I felt and that I loved. I scared her when I told her that. I really do love her but all the chancing and rejection is draining me emotionally....What is my next move? I have been talking to other girls but no one compares to her right now....I know she has feelings for me or atleast did at some point....She got me to fall for her......I wouldnt mind spending the rest of my life wit her......Can I win her heart? Or should I just completely move on?

Our Suggestion:
Ask her what she thinks you should do.

Does she find you fun enough to want to be a best friend with you? That is the basis of a good relationship. Focus on that a while and make sure you are her best friend. Be there when she needs someone to talk with or a shoulder to lean on.

Buy her little surprise presents and bring her a single rose now and then. Most people are a little more romantic during the holidays (unless they are frazzled out) so see if she likes you more during this season.

Ask her out as a friend rather than a date. She can get used to being with you that way. Be sure to always hug her hello and goodbye and give her a peck on the cheek so she get used to you physically.

I wish you the best! George
