Visitor's Question:
i just got back with an ex, who just happened to be my first boyfriend.he realized 1 yr.and 8 months after we broke up that he still had feelings for me,and just begged me to forgive him,and as dumb as it sounds i took the risk.mind i just say that he never cheated on me,our break up mainly was because our relationship was getting serious & that drew him away :-(.he can be an amazing guy at times, but sometimes he acts like a complete jerk.its already been 2 weeks since we got back together and everything seemed fine, until he told me that he wants to take things really slow, and that its not like we're married or w/e,but he still tells me that he cares and hopefully that we will be together forever.that kind of talk obviously confuses the heck out of me b/c how do i know if he really cares?this weekend he spent it with his friends and that was fine w/me b/c i did the same thing, but then he was supposed to call me yesterday after work so we could hang out but he never did.i called him today in the morning & left a message b/c the way things are looking up right now it seems to me that he wants to pull an "ignore" on me as a sign that we're over....i really don't know what to think,im so confused about how he feels about me,is he just playing with me?even though he says he cares and everything sounded perfect the other day.please give me some quick advice..i would appreciate it.thanx.

Our Suggestion:
He told you that he wants to take things really slow.

That's where he's coming from. Match your speed to his and you may come out of this ok. Take what he says about being together forever with a grain of salt. That's his love talk coming out. But you should be paying more attention to his warning talk like taking things slow.

Hope things work out for you! George
