I wish I had a reason not to give up, but I don't. I've tried talking to her, but she never really talks back. My mom thinks she doesn't want me around, and I'm starting to believe her. I want to get closer to her as a friend, but she just won't respond. I don't know if she's shy or just tired of me.And it being this close to Valentine's day doesn't make it any easier.
