If she says she does not want a relationship right now because she is unwell which she is. (very unwell) might even be on a stoma bag for the rest of her life.
Says she likes me but has to get well first.

I really like her however and cannot be treated as a friend like she is calling me.

Should I just ring her and say

"(her name this is what i want i want a relationship with you illness or no illness.

Then ask what she wants and if she back pedals and says i only want to be friends I move on.

I am guessing that she is probably too ill to think about romance at present. And if you really care about her, you will give her a chance to come to terms with her health problems.

I think that she needs a caring friend just now, not a romance.

You can, of course, tell her how you feel, but don't push her while she is unwell.

She is sick love, she can't help it. It's not her fault, she didn't ask for it. You if you truly want to be with her, then stick by her side as a friend to her and a love at the say time. Don't just leave her when she is in need of a good friend, be that friend and things should progress from there. She may even get better with your help and support, then the only thing she would be thinking about after her passing illness is you, and how you were there for her. Even in sickness, that's cute!
