I think I'm going out with this girl; I truely love her and she has made clear the same feelings for me. We have a history together, strange, but our best stories are with one another. We recently began accepting our feelings for one another after we both saw others - usually unsuccessfully.
Problem is, I'm not sure what we're doing; We've been doing the whole bit. Holding hands, cuddling, kissing, whatnot. It seems to me we're dating - but then she says something about how shes happy with where we are and dosen't want to make it official just yet. This makes me wonder, what thing could make this any more 'official'? and why dosen't she want to go there? Seems to me that there isn't that far to go.
Please share your thoughts, this is the first person that I really feel a connection with on all levels.

Oh, and my previous question... we decided to remain friends.

Thanks - kurdt

Kurdt, this is your previous question ~ worth putting them together, I think:

During the most recent year of school, we stuck together because neither had many friends. She didn't have a car so I usually took her home because her house is on my way anyway; this often lead to us hanging out for a while, before going home
We laughed at people when they thought we were going out because we were always with one another. She'd ask why we weren't (seemed to be half-joking) the reason for not dating wasn't really ever figured out. Recently though, while hanging out in the summer, I realize that we share what might be romantic feelings for each other. Are there any suggestions for going to further stages of this relationship?

Oh, and the second problem that I haven't been able to wrap my head around; my cousin is now married to what is either her cousin or her second cousin, making us technically related... second cousins in-law? That makes us practically nothing, correct?

Thanks for reading all of that and thanks for helping one really confused guy if you can.

I'm a bit confused.

Are you describing two different girls in these two posts?

The stories sound very similar, but you say that you now think you are dating the one, but decided to just remain friends with the other.

Is that correct?
I just want to be sure that I have understood.
