If you want your relationship to be a lasting one, you have to focus on disagreements/ arguments. If something comes up you should thouroughly discuss it with him/ her. NEVER let anything like that go unsaid because it will only make things worse down the line. This kind of relationship skill is better used when the relationship first starts, and kept throughout it. It would be much harder to bring this in while an active relationship is having issues, because this sort of aid is going to bring out past problems and if you have many, it will dangerously stress your relationship.
