Hey yall. My name is Lee. I'm sort of new to the whole dating thing, so I'm hhaving a little trouble. Me and my girl are in our last year of high school and it seems to be tearing us apart, and it's only the 4th or 5th week in school. maybe if I start back a little to the beginning that will explain. So one day Im in 3rd block whch my gf was in but she wasn't my gf a the time until March 7th, 2007. I handed her a note saying some neeto things bout her, and asking her if shhe wanted to go out with me. Now we been cool friends since 8th grade, and we were in 11th when I did ask her out. after bout a few weeks(robotics got in the way)that we went to Georgeio's for our first date. things went well, and we were doin great, I remebered her B-day, our monthly anniversaries, we also went to prom. Summer came and still were into each other.
Well we just started our last year at school, andd it feels like Im lossing her, from all the stress, homework, and other things, I dont knkow how much longer we'll last. I mean she leaves me without letting me giver a hug, she allways liked ggetting those from me, and i can't seem to hold her hand anymore. Could it be me, or thhe fact that our relationship is going to lost?

Hello, and welcome to the forums.
You said that you guys we're going well for about 5-6 months, and then with the start of school things are becoming different. Maybe it is the stress from school starting again? Maybe she's starting to think that she preferred you as "just a friend"?
I would say that the best way to find out what's up is simply to ask--you've been friends for years now, so it shouldn't be too difficult to bring up.
Hope everything works out in the end.
I will toss out that I wouldn't throw the friendship down the drain if in fact she's no longer interested in you as her boyfriend.

I kknow I should, but it's hard somtimes. I mean I callled her earlier today see if she wantedd to come over on Monday, but she was doing HW, andd I have no idea how much more she has. If it wasn't her stikin AP teachers maybe we could do more. Im afriad to pull it up, brecause she may think that the answer is so obvious. I ddon't even kknow the answer.

Hi & welcome. If she doesn't hug you or hold your hand any more, then she may be trying to get a message to you that the relationship doesn't feel right for her any more. Or she might just be tired and overworked. This can happen. Or maybe she has something else on her mind. I agree with Sal ~ the best thing to do is ask her. Good luck

Hey yall. Thx for the tips on my last post. they really helped. But now, my friends, well, lets just say they think I'm being alittle over protective. I'm not seeing how I am. I man, I let her talk to other guys, and her friends. Sure I'm keepingg a close eye ona few thhings to make sure she dosen't get hurt, but i dont the big deal here? And with the lack of sleep from homework, I don't think she, or me can fuction muh longer. sure weekkends get us more sleep, which actully helps her more than me. Cause while she's in LALA land, Im busy workingg my day job. wow, McDonalds, frustrating....anyway thats off the point alittle bit. I've tried to tell them Im not being like her father, and not letting her talk to other guys. Anyway how i can make thhem stop?

Good to hear things seem to be going well between you two.
As for your friends, chances are you really can't. I think it's great that you trust her to have her own life outside of the relationship (from what you say.)
Were it I, I'd probably say something like, "You guys just wish you could find a girl you could trust." or something like that. I'm not known for my kindness, though, so maybe that isn't the best idea.

If you or if anybody can think of anything else, please leave a message, after the click.
