Personally, I would keep friends out of it. It complicates things unnecessarily. If you want to know what she is thinking, ask her.
I was going to the cinema with a boy when I was 14. I saw him walking down the road, so got ready for him to knock on my door to call for me. He didn't arrive. I looked out to see him talking to one of my best friends. Then he walked back home. I didn't know what was going on. It was a bit upsetting. Then, a couple of days later, another boy I knew told me he was disgusted with the way I had treated the other boy!? Goodness knows what my friend had said. I never did find out.
While friends can help ~ my husband & I got together because our (different) friends decided that we were right for each other ~ they can sometimes cause problems, so be careful.
