love, they say it comes from the heart,or mabey thats just symbolism. But essential isnt love a feeling?and arnt all feelings and moods controled by chemicals in the brain.therefore is love just a chemical released from the brain when the right person allows you to release it?

You think to much, lol! But, isn't love something you feel inside. Like your heart starts beating faster and your stomach gets all fluttery and stuff? But I guess your brain is controlling that...

I have a book that was published in 1976, so it's quite old now and the findings may be out of date, but I found it very interesting. It's called: 'Love's Mysteries' - by Glenn Wilson & David Nias. There's a whole chapter on 'The Chemistry of Love'.

Yes certainly this gets into a branch of philosophy, about what all our emotions and feelings are about. All of them begin in the brain and begin with impulses we receive. So we see someone that we care about. Our eyes dilate, our heart beats faster, we get a little sweaty, our stomach gets a little wiggly. These are all signals sent to our body from our brain, because of releases of hormones.
And most of it has to do with survival of our species, i.e. sex. Our body hormones flush our system when we see someone we are attracted to, to make us more 'in the mood' and also to put out endorphins to make our partner more 'in the mood'.
Jealousy is similar - if we see a threat to our relationship with the person we love, we instinctively begin to take steps to make sure that threat is addressed ... many people say they can't "help" being jealous. It is just something their body does naturally.

what im actually trying to get at is mabey you could sell that feeling, like find out what stimulates it,then say put it in a subtance form, make it really cheap with mass production ,then hand it out to erradicate hate.

davey if you could do that, you'd make the world a much happier place.
There's also different types of love e.g. the love we have for a partner, a child, a parent, even your pet.
Love has become an extremely profitable 'commodity' for many - songs, lingerie, perfume, Valentines Day and let's not forget chocolate.

Davey - that's what they do with those pheremone sprays. They tell you that if you spray it on you, all people of the opposite sex will naturally feel loving and sexy towards you, without any effort on your part. That it is all about hormones and chemical signatures. The problem is that love also makes people jealous. If all girls around loved one guy, it would not lead to peace and happiness What you need is not a love potion. You need a zen like calm potion. You don't want people to be in love. You want everyone to be relaxed and one with the universe, to be at peace

Interestingly, there are many sci fi books about this, you sort of get that effect if you simply turn everyone into emotionless robots without feeling. Suddenly there are no wars, no jealousy, no hate, no crimes because people simply don't care. So on one hand it's great - things are peaceful. But for the few people who realize what's going on, it really sucks, because all emotion and drive has been sucked out of life.

Then there's the pheremone sprays you can use for animals as well. If your cat scratches the furniture, lightly spray it with a pheremone and that'll deter it.
