A lot may have to do with a person is raised. One of my uncles was gay and I was raised by a family that taught that people should be accepted despite color, sexual orientation, religion, etc. BUT the kicker was my family was not "Christian." I became a Christian in my twenties. The thing is I believe my family raised me with TRUE Christian values.
