i am so devisated right now. I have been with my girlfriend for 4 years. We were highschool sweethearts and very much on love. A few weeks ago, she told me that she had cheated on me with a co worker of hers. At first she was saying that i shouldnt want to be with her and that i should leave her alone, a few days later, she was telling me how much she was in love with me and how we should be together. As bad as it hurts to accept, i wanted to move on with her and try to work it out. now, shes telling me that we shouldnt be together and she needs space. I dont understand why shes putting me through this emotional roller coaster. Despite all this, im still in love with her and want to be with her. She completes me and I want her back, but i dont know what to do anymore. Why did she wait after so long to put me through all this?

She is very confused herself.
Make it very clear to her where you stand. That you love her and want to work things out. If she needs time and space then give it to her but make sure she understands your feelings first.
Ask if you can call her once a week for 15 mins to keep up to date and so you can show that you still care. Be cheerful and don't talk about your relationship.
