I'm Shy - He's Leaving for China

I like this guy that goes to church with my aunt... He is sweet, cute, and an all around good Christian guy.
Well, he is going to college in China very soon. I want to tell him how I feel but I'm wondering if it's worth it?! Oh also he's a little shy! (I am too)
What should I do?!? I think about him ALL the time... I can't seem to get him out of my head! I fear rejection but at the same time I don't wanna go through life wondering what could've been! It's driving me crazy! I've only got a short period of time left. HELP!!

You would always regret not speaking up and wondering what would have happened. No matter what DOES happen, at least you gave it your best shot and gave it a chance. If it works out, that's awesome! That would be wonderful. If it doesn't work out, you're no worse off than before, and now you don't have that "what if" lingering over your head.
I would definitely tell him. Write him a letter if you're so shy that you feel you can't get through it verbally without collapsing into a puddle.
