Stay friends and see what happens

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I started going out with my ex in July(and went out with her for 5 months) and even though we lived an hour away from each other i saw her every weekend because we camped seasonal at a campground with our families. Our families became good friends and we eventually started going out. Things were great and I felt something different toward this girl than anyother girl I had known.Even though we were only 16(she is now 17) I felt I would be with her for a while.(more than 5 months) We did everything together. Other stuff that used to be importand was no longer important. My life was her. The camping season soon came to an end but I still saw her because we were and still are on a bowling league together. She broke up with me 2 days after christmas because she said she wanted to focus on school and she wanted me to make my own decisions.I have always made my own decisions, sometimes I let her decide on things just to make her happy. We Are still friends and talk often we also see each other every weekend. Do you think it is posible for me to get back together with her and some ideas to get her to accept?

RomanceClass.com Advice
If you are still good friends, just keep it at that for a while until she may change her mind about dating you. Be the person she wants to go to for advice and comfort. Sooner or later she will redevelop those old loving feelings. That's about all you can do at this point.

Good luck,
George
