Give it a little more time
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male I've been seeing this girl for about 4 months now (going on 5) and usually we see each other about once a week. After about the third date, she told me that she "did not see us like that" and that she wanted to be single for a while. Yet she still throws out very strong signals. Ex. We go to the mall and I offer to buy her some food/drink. She refuses politely but when we sit down, she playfully steals a fry or a sip from my Coke when I'm not looking, then puts it back when I look up and grins at me and pretends like she doesn't know anything about it. Whenever we talk it's almost constant eye contact, and she's already said a few times (even after the dreaded "I don't see us like that" line) that she likes being around me. I've been afraid to tell her how I feel about her for so long, but I'm in love with her now more than ever. Should I tell her how I feel, or am I just getting the wrong signals from her?
RomanceClass.com Advice I don't think she is quite ready to hear about your love for her. Give your relationship more time to mature. You will know when she is ready when the time comes.
