We are both short tempered

Visitor's Question from a 41-50 year old Female
We have a 4yr old girl, and he broke up with me in 2003. Were together from 1997. We are both short tempered. He use to always leave abruptly before resolving arguments. I would explode. I love him so much he says he does too. He still buys stuff for me, comes to my rescue, and constantly asks to do things for me. We go thru cycles of quick sex but he doesn't hug me or kiss me. I get upset and give him the cold shoulder. I justify my feelings then it repeats every 2-3 months. He is the one who won't reconnect, I have extended reconciliation. I miss and love him and it hurts so much. What do I do?

RomanceClass.com Advice
You seem to care about each other.

Why not spend the time and money to see a professional counselor who might be able to help you improve your relationship?

You seem to be caught in a vicious cycle that won't end unless some outsider helps you out. Obviously it would be better for all three of you if you could find a way of living together more peacefully.

Try to find some way to make the holidays happier for your daughter.

Good luck! George
