She's one of the most gorgeous girls in our school

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
Well, tomorrow I'm going to break up with my boyfriend of about a month and a half. We were good friends before, and dating him is starting to feel sort of like I was dating my brother.

My problem is breaking the ice with this other guy. I've had the biggest crush on him for a long time, but I only see him one hour a day, and its band practice, so I don't get much of a chance to talk to him. I know him a little. I know his name and some things about him, but he barely knows me. He's always been nice to me, though, and is always funny and sweet to everyone. I'm a really shy person. What do you think is the best way to get to know him better?

Also, another girl that I know has been flirting with him almost nonstop for about a month. She flirts with a lot of people, however. Do you think she is interested in him, or if she's just always like that? It bothers me, because I really like him, but he flirts back with her. Plus, I'm average looking, and she's one of the most gorgeous girls in our school.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Things are not sounding good.

You only see your crush one hour a week and during that time he is flirting with one of the most gorgeous girls in school.

My advice is to ask him for his phone number or internet id or email. Then you could contact him and have an opportunity to develop a relationship. If you are too shy to ask him then give him a note.

Don't worry about the gorgeous girl... she probably flirts with all the guys.

Good luck! George
