He left me for someone else...

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
I am 15, and I know that's young... but, I had my first love. I liked him for three years and by the time I went to high school I knew that it was love. I told him once, but he told me he didn't like me "like that" but then the next year I told him I loved him and he said that he loved me. We went out, held hands, never kissed. Then one day he hands me a note that says he's leaving me for another girl. The thing is, she has a boyfriend... and doesn't like him back. I know for a fact he won't be with her, so how can I convince him that in a way that will help me win him back?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Keep talking with him as a friend. That is important because if you're not talking with him then the odds are lower that he will come back.

Every week or so ask him how she is doing and does she still have a boyfriend. This will encourage him to think of how he felt when he had a girlfriend (you).

Then one day say to him "you know I only wish that we could have kissed." This will get him to fantasizing about kissing you. Maybe that would help.

Good luck! George
