Getting Over an Ex

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I don't know how to get over my ex boyfriend, It's a lot harder than it really seems, and its hard to not show that I am jelaous whenever he talks about his new girlfriend. How do I get over him and also not show that I'm jelaous when I'm around him. Oh and how do I act normal around him. Like when hes outside I wanna be out there with him but I don't know how to act normal and not act like a geek whenever I go out there. Please help me. Thank you

RomanceClass.com Advice
First, give yourself LOTS of time. Getting over an ex can be VERY hard. It involves a lot of healing. It can't just be "fixed". What you're feeling is natural, and just about every human on the planet has felt that way at least once if not many times. So know that you're going through a normal healing process that songs are written about and movies constructed about.

In essence, take GOOD care of yourself. Pamper yourself. Go to your favorite spots, eat your favorite foods, watch your favorite movies. Spend time reminding yourself that you can have fun without him, that you are a special person, that the world is still a good place. You'll find that as time passes you'll heal up and be even stronger than before.
