First, I hope you don't sound this desparate when you talk to her about this. Your "romantic" interest may scare her away. Second, and I know this sounds cliche, but be yourself. Use honesty, humanity, kindness, and if all else fails, use your sense of humor to connect with her. Girls love a funny guy - look at Adam Sandler - and laughter has a way of breaking down barriers between people . It is good that you see each other as best friends.
