Original Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
Ok there is this girl i like a lot, and we've been pretty good friends for a while now and i would sometimes get the feeling she likes me too. but she has been talking to this other guy now and she seems to really like him(she's even thinking about dating him) and one or two times before when i tried to talk to her she would ignore me or barely say anything and walk away to talk to the other guy. and because of this i have stopped trying to talk to her(for about a week or so) so i can stop having these thoughts but it's not really working. the reason i'm doing this is because i recieved some advice, they told me if she starts taking you for granted then stop talking to her and she will come to you and it knid of worked she tried talking to me a couple of times but these last two days she has not said a thing to me. so what should i do? am i doing the right thing? i really do like her . please help. thanks

Ignored her

Same thing that happened to me.Jesus, this might actually BE me...except for the "She might even date him" part.

I did the same thing.Ignored her.She came crawling back apologizing when I told her that she was ignoring me for him ALL the time. Then she went around telling everyone how I got so jealous, and jokes with HIM about how if I'm not talking to her, that it's because she's talking to him.

Our relationship was sweet.Swear to god it was.But I had to blow it over something like jealousy.Don't do it dude, whatever you do, just don't do that.If you really like her, you'll regret it a lot man.

It's funny how I'm not even following my advice, and I'm currently attempting to end our friendship once again, because it's killing me knowing I can't get with her.
