How come the girl I call never answersWe often have visitors write in with solutions to each others' problems. Here is a visitor's solution to one of our visitor's questions. Original Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male You know how you usually tell people to "call once a week, keep a conversation of no more than 5 minutes"? What if that person calls you? Calling her just the next day after seems silly... (<- But 50% of all my thoughts on relationships are wrong, so i have to rely on others.) Also... How come the girl I call never answers.... then calls back an hour or two later? Is that a good sign or not? (Although we still have a good conversation about random things.) My confidence around her stands on the fact that- "if she is going to hate me for being around her so much, then I can forget her easy. I've got nothing to lose. Or if its the other way and she likes me for it, then it is a bonus." Is this a bit unhealthy? (For me, it IS easy to forget people who do not recognise me as at least 'and aquaintance.) Thanks! User Submitted Advice from a 31-40 year old Female Don't chase Sounds like a polite blow off to me,or she'se just busy and never near the phone.Either way why not ask her when is the best time to call,so you can cut through all the baloney and get your question answered faster.You are being paitient and polite and that's o.k. It's really not fun having to play telephone tag with somone because it makes it seem like they think they're to good for you,and you don't need that.Maybe don't call for a couple of days and see what happens..Good friends share with each other and she'se not a rabbit you have to chase.K G.
