Heartbreak II

Original Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Female
Just to fill you in I didn't know what to do about my ex (we have been off & on for 12 years) and we had a reunion party this past weekend. I was told to put him far from my mind so I did. Anyway I went to our reunion this past weekend and my current guy proposed the day before the party. Of course I said yes. Well, at the reunion we ran into my ex and he was very nice & we talked and said our hellos. Everywhere I went that evening at the party when I looked up there my ex was. He's even in some of the pictures we took. I hate that he can still take my breath away with one smile and I know that he's emotionally unavailable. Later that evening my new fiance revealed to me that my ex said he always loved me and still does. I don't understand why he would reveal that to my fiance and not 2 me? My fiance later said he was kidding but he could tell my ex cares and do I have any feelings? He then told me again the next day that my ex did say that he loved me and laughed it off and said "nah just kidding". So what's the deal, I'm so confused. After all of this time the guy always toyed with my heart and now that he sees me in a serious relationship is this his attempt to get back at me? Or maybe my fiance is testing me? Whatever the case it sucks.

keep quiet

I dont think it is a smart idea to tell your fiance that the one person you loved a while ago still loves you which will most likely cause a problem with your feelings towards your fiance and the other guy
