Original Visitor's Question from a 13-20 year old Female I am 14. I have really liked this guy for 3 years. I've always wanted to be his girlfriend. We soon became best friends. Last year, I made the mistake of following another friend's advice and writing him a note telling him how I really felt. It was probably not the first time he heard it, because all of our friends knew. He wrote back, telling me that he didn't want a girlfriend yet, he didn't want to ruin our friendship, and that he didn't have the money to take a girl anywhere. I still like him. He doesn't know that. I have asked 2 guys and a girl what to do. One guy said to talk to him. He said that guys love it when you tell them that you like them. The other guy and the girl said he might like me, but they didn't really know. We are still close friends, but I've never really talked to him seriously. How can I get him to give me a chance?
