Original Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Male I was with my ex for 4.5 years. We had many great times, but the past year was different. She moved down about 2 years ago and we bought a place together (big mistake). Well she ended up leaving me because I definitely did not treat her right. She was pressuring us to get married and I was not ready. Towards the end of the relationship, I felt like I could definitely marry her with 2 years. I was going over in my mind how and when I could ask her. We were not on great terms but I knew I had to change my behavior and make her a priority. We have been apart for about 2 months and she is already seeing another guy. She told me that she does not see us ever getting back together. I know this guy is a rebound guy but she is the type of girl who always needs a guy. I believe that she is only saying we will never be together but she really feels like she needs to do something to push me away. I want to marry this girl but she is not interested in me that way. She says she will always care about me but there is no chance for us even though I am making an attempt to change. Are these words she is saying her true feelings, or are they just to push me away. Depending on how old you are i think you left it a bit late to really show her how much you care about her. Right now you have show her how much you care, call her and simply tell her how much you care.
