We actually met on a dating site and connected immediately. About a month ago, long story short, I found out that he had NEVER taken his profile down when we started dating. Not only that but as I started investigating, he has 5 sites total that I found. The advisor is right. Porn is one thing..which is still unacceptable to me... but it's a whole other thing to have someone on a dating site.. the sites are for dating and hooking up. My guy's lies included that he was bored at work and he just liked to look at the profiles... I asked him, "Well why on earth would YOU have a profile up complete with picture and everything????" It truly didn't matter what he said after that. I knew the truth. The truths are: I was with someone who I can't trust, I was with a liar and I was with someone who WILL cheat.
