I thought i wanted my ex back so I continued to text and try to get him to come see me.. however i quit after 3 months or so. I started hanging out with different people, doing things i enjoy, and spending more time with my family. He came back one day.. and i realized that my life was beginning to change and the funny thing was his was the same.. i realized that even though i do love him, i dont want him anymore.. i am no longer IN LOVE with him. i will always love him but now theres this guy that is funny, loves to be with me, not too clingy, has his own thing going and lets me be me. he doesnt expect what my ex expected, hes there for me.. he trusts me, and--yes i do think about my ex however, thats when alex comes around. I want to grow old with someone, and so far alex is the happiest, funniest guy i have EVER been around, and hes with me because I BECAME SOMEONE I ALWAYS WANTED TO BE, and now i can be just that.. so be yourself, build yourself, make you who you are but to the greatest extent... trust me... love will come.. even if you are meant to be with your ex..
