Original Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I am a 19 year old female, and back in august, I met this great guy at a dancehall. He asked me to dance and it was wonderful. The whole night he held my hand, and then later, we slow danced and he kissed me for the first time. The rest of the night we kissed and talked. We went on a date 2 days later. On the 5th day, he said he loved me. I was a virgin before i met him, but i'm not now. We had sex 2 weeks after we met. He gave me a promise ring, and said that we would get married. I should have mentioned this earlier, but he is in the Navy, and was only in my town for 2 months. He is in Spain right now for 2 years. He broke up with me after we dated 5 months. He had a family emergency and then when I talked to him after that, he said he didn't know where I or he would be in 2 years. He said it was not fair to me to wait 2 years for him. He said he didn't love me anymore, and was over me. WHAT? Somebody, please, let me know what he is really trying to say. I love him, and our relationship was not perfect, but it was pretty good. HELP!!!

Dump him

I think you need to forget him. He obviously doesn't care about you as much and you do about him to try and make it work so why should you bother trying anymore. Women need to stop chasing men in situations like this. If a man is breaking up with you or anyone in that matter, there is obviously something not working. If there is ever a doubt in being with the person you are with then there must be something beyond the lines of sight that is not quite right. If he was in love with you for real it would take longer then two weeks of dating and having sex. Good luck finding a good man out there. Keep the faith and don't ruin your chances with a possible true love on trying to make it work with this guy who said himself that he is over you.
