User Submitted Advice from a 21-30 year old Female Make yourself happy first I really don't know what to tell you. I was with a guy for 4 years who got deployed to Iraq. The past year I stuck by him and supported him and waited around to make sure I was able to talk to him. The day he got home, he broke up with me. He told me I didn't support him and I didn't love him. Him breaking up with me opened my eyes and really let me find out what kind of person I was. I say now that I don't want him back and all that but deep down inside I do. There's so many little things that bring back memories and I really do long for him, but it's hard when he treated me so badly when he got home. I try to keep myself busy, but as another person mentioned, the memories still flow. Just remember that somewhere out there there is a guy searching for you too and one day you will find each other!
