I'm really, really tall and my boyfriend is not! In fact he's quite short. I know this shouldn't matter and i try so hard to not let it affect me but it does. I really love him and i'm scared that my insecurities will effect our relationship. What should i do?? User Submitted Advice from a 13-20 year old Female tall/short I am a very tall girl too. I dated this guy I really was so into. He was so sweet. I tried everything I could, I even stopped wearing heels but still he still looked so little to me. I'm an athletic girl and over 6' and he is about 5' 5"ish. So I get a little embarrassed walking into a place with him. I feel like such a brat for saying that! Lol, but I can't help being tall. Things like this affect me too, despite his small stature, he does have better qualities too. Hes cute for one. But I'm sad to say, it just bothered me too much and I had to let him down gently. I just wish he understood it more. I dont feel very cute and girly with a guy who barely reaches my chest, and he is so a liteweight! The best advice I can give is, if you feel uncomfortable you should tell him you'd like to back off on the relationship, but you could still be friends.
