Visitor's Question:
Me and my girlfriend have been broken up for a month now. We dated for 11 monthes and today wold have been 1 year. We have become friends now though. Somehow or the other i started talking to her about this guy that she likes now and i ended up pouring my heart out, and i think i might have pushed her even farther away, only for her to tell me she didnt like me like that anymore and that she liked this guy she was talking to now. I found out she had went to a sleepover at this church with one of her friends and that guy was there. she held hands with him, even though they arent dating yet. when we broke up she told me she didnt want a boyfriend at all. I still love her and want to be with her but she just doesnt love me anymore. I have tried to move only but nothin works. shes all i ever think about and i have tried everything to get her out of my mind. I dont know that i want to move on, but that i want to go on with my life with her in it. i want her to fall back in love with me but nothin works and i only end up pissin her off. I call her like once or twice aweek only for 15 -20 min and we talk but when she talks about other guys i always get jealous and we get into a couple of small arguments. She says she doesnt mind me callin her but she hates it when we get off onto subjects like that. What should i do? should i keep on waiting for her since i truley love her and want her back or should i leave her alone about us and let her date this guy. or should i do something else

Our Suggestion:
There is no way you can make someone love you again.

You are doing a good thing by giving her short phone calls now and then. You can tell her you still care for her but don't get upset when she is interested in some other guy. As you said, it just pushes her away.

Time will ease your pain. You could shorten the period of pain by just cutting away from her, but it is better for you, in the long run, to remain her friend.

Good luck! George
