Visitor's Question: My ex and I have been broken up for over a year now, and he has a new girlfriend that he has been with since the day he left me. When our relationship ended he said it was over he was tired of our problems, so we had contact for two months after we first broke up. After about seven months of us not seeing each other he called for us to be friends, but he was still with his girlfriend. We had sex about three times, and after that he told me it could never happen again, and that it was something he had to get out of his system. After that incident he just recently called me which has been five months since we have talked or seen each other. He told me that his girlfriend is really annoying, and that he needed to talk to me just to have someone to talk to about his problems. I gave him an ear and told him that I still love him, but I don't know if he just wanted to vent and tell me that I'm hard to not think about. But, he never said he still cares about me, or wanted us to be friends which I know is impossible because he still has a girlfriend. We also had sex again and have not heard from him since and it has been a week. My question is should I pursue him for us to try and get back together, or respect his girlfriend and move on with my life? Our Suggestion: It doesn't seem like he likes you very much. He comes back to you for a little talk and sex every once in a while. But he is still with his girlfriend. My advice is to step back and try to let your feelings cool off toward him.
