Visitor's Question:
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped, and to those who also had problems when I was needing help. I looked through a lot of the questions on here and had a termendous amount of help reading through them. I only submitted two questions and finally just went with what you all said to do... have patience, give space and listen to what he/she needs. My boyfriend and I split up back in June 2005 and still kept in very good touch as friends until April. We would go to dinner, weddings, parties... anything together still - and still slept together as well. It just always felt right. I tried dating other guys, failure after failure... always thinking about him even when the others made me laugh. Finally, in April, I began to get close to another guy and decided to cut off all ties with the ex. We did pretty good for about a week... but then HE started calling ME. Checking up on ME. It was so weird how the tables turned, and no matter how good I was feeling with the new guy, I would light up as soon as my ex's name popped up on the caller id. One day though, out of the blue, not even 2 weeks after we started talking, new guy got really shady. He was young and liked to party, so thats what he did, while I'm more laid back. There were somedays that I would sit and wait for him to call and there would be none. Whereas, even when the ex and I weren't even together, he'd still make it a habit to call, no matter what. I found myself seeing that he cared more about me, just really needed his space. I decided it was time to stop seeing new guy (After three times of his BS) So I ended it... called the ex and he took me out to dinner that night. We had a blast... ended up kissing and deciding to have another go of dating... which a week later turned into us going back out AND... 3 weeks later, we live together! SO after that 8-page novel (which they say NOT to write) I will just let everyone know to HAVE PATIENCE. And if you truly love them, sometimes you have to let them go a little.

And remember... if its meant to be, it will be.

Our Suggestion:
Congratulations on your excellent outcome!
