Visitor's Question:
ok.. my ex n i broke it off 2 mos ago... but those two months we wer acting like we just needed space but wer basically on... he met a girl during da break up so normally, i got jealoused and from den on we arguued everytime we talk... he went out of town and while he was away, he called me and we had a gud talk dat was first week of may..he told me he was still affected by wat happened to us and da hes not ready to have another relationship... of course, i believed him(stupid)... but i couldnt hold my emotions not to be jealous with da girl coz she obviously like him... so finally, da thing i am so scared of, happened... they r now officially together... im not sure if shes just a rebound... but based on the conversations we had i guess shes not.. based on wat he told me he sounds happy with her and he doesnt have any plans of getting back with me... im cool with dat.. im not expecting anymore...but the problem is, he still calls me once a week, tell me stuff bout himself and ask my opinion bout his life... i mean why would he do dat wen hes happy with his new gf... during da tyms dat we talk his gf would call like 2 tyms or so, i expect dat he'l hang up on me coz his gf wud be da priority, ryt? surprisingly, he dont.. we talk for like hours straight...i dnt want to think dat wat he is showing me is a sign dat he still cares for me and dat we still have a chance... but its driving me crazy... i wanna continue being frends with him but its hurting me... i wanna cut da contact off but im scared im gonna miss him... i know im not over him but im not expecting anymore... one day if wer really meant for each oder, i know hel come back... i dont know wat to do... i wanna let go coz he has a gf, but my heart still say, wer meant for each oder.... wat shud i do?

Our Suggestion:
Listen to your heart.

You don't have much to lose by talking with him on the phone. It is a sign of a good friendship and he may be drawn back to you.

You just need to keep yourself strong so that it doesn't hurt you when you talk. But if you don't think you can do this, then it might be better to let him go.

Good luck! George
