Visitor's Question: hi well my girlfriend and i just broke up. i am a freshman in college and she is a senior in high school. we live very close to eachother so distance wasnt a problem. things seemed to be going great. we would fight sometimes but not enough that i thought would break us up. well yesterday she suddenly told me she wanted to break up. whn i asked her why she said that she just wants to be alone at this point in her life and that she wants to be able to hang out with her friends without me being there and here having to sacrifice being with me instead of them. i thought that was very selfish of her. i just dont know wat to do. i love her more than anything right now and i want her back so badly. i just dont think she realizes wat shes doing. shes also very involved in things with her school and i think she is trying to do way to much and the stress of that just isnt helpin this situation either. i just dont know wat to do. please if you have any advice id appreciate it. thanks, Mike Our Suggestion: Probably your best bet right now is to do nothing. Let her know you still love her and will wait for her and acknowledge that she does need time for herself without you. Hopefully she will recognize her loss before you have found someone else.
