During the whole time we were together her ex was trying to get her back that she was with for 3 years although they were broken up for almost a year before we got together and they still were friends with benefits. He treated her badly and did drugs during their relationship. She would tell him to leave her alone and everything but would still answer his phone calls and everything from him. After we broke up she got back with him and then they broke up after a couple of weeks. When they were together I was jealous which doesn't happen to me normally and I tried to get her back. Now she calls me and when we are together we hold hands but she says she just wants friends but her body language and actions show differnet. I know she still likes me but she still acts like she wants to keep it open for her ex and i am always feeling second best even though I know we could be really good together and I know she needs and wants to move on. I dont know what to do to make her see that I am here but I can't wait around. I thought of the making her jealous issue but I don't know if that's a good idea in this situation. Our Suggestion: Remain her friend and don't try to make her jealous. It isn't a good idea to use trickery to try to change someones's feelings. Instead, use some positive actions such as strong communication, sharing of feelings, and positive affection. These are some of the important elements of a good relationship. Good luck!
