Hey everyone,

I'm in a pretty stuck position right now and I have no idea what to do so I was wondering if anyone can help me decide?

ok so everything started about 2 years ago when this guy, whom I've known practicly my whole entire life which is why I look at him like a brother, told me that he loved me. He said that he knows its a shock and everything but he knows his feelings are real and that he definately love me more than a little sister. I couldn't accept his love back then because I was definately not ready and I don't care for him like that. I love him too but merely as a friend or older brother. I told him that and he told me that he'll drop the topic. But a couple months later he kept on bringing it back up. I actually got mad then, thinking why couldn't he just let it rest? So i started being cold to him and even mean at times. Then he moved away to go to school in another place and now he's back. And the sad thing that really bugs me now is that things aren't the same between us anymore. He promised me that I'll always be his number 1 whom he'll protect forever, as a little sister. I don't want to lose this friend and brother but it seems like we're drifting farther and farther away every day.

Since I get to see him now, I really want to go up to him and say sorry for all I've done to him. I was acting childish 2 years ago and i had said some crue words that prolly hurt him alot. All I want now is to go back like before and have my brother back. But is that a smart idea? To talk to him about this topic again? Will it stir up that past and cause him even more pain? Should I just let this whole thing silently past? ?? I desperately need help. Please, if u were in my situation, what would u do?

My advice is to take the risk and contact him.

Let him know that you are sorry about what happened and you would like to be his friend again but nothing more.

This will hopefully make you both feel good.
