She says we're just friends...Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: The girl I like recently broke up with her boyfriend. However, she still has feelings for him. Soon after the breakup, i started talking to her online. We talked about the breakup, and discussed my problem as well. I was in a similar situation. My problem got fixed, and then we started talking about other stuff. Soon after, I met her face to face at school, and we would talk about the same things. As we talked I sensed an attraction between her and me. When she would leave, she would hug me (she doesn't do that with any other of her guy friends)and said she'd talk to me later. I asked her to the courtwarming dance, and she said Yes with great enthusiasm. She wasn't really looking forward to the dance, because that her and her ex-boyfriend's one year anniversary. I'm good friends with her ex, and he said he was cool with me taking her to the dance. The dance was fun, and I was thinking on asking her out, but she told me before I could speak, that we're just friends. Her ex has another girlfriend and seems to like her a lot. I told my date to move on, because she wants to get back together with him, even though she has shown an interest in liking me. I don't know what to do. Can somebody help me out? Our Suggestion: You have a great friend with whom you have fun. That's a wonderful thing to have in your life. Maybe if you continue being her friend and doing things with her she might come around to liking you more. It's really your only option at this time. Don't pass up your opportunity. Good luck!
