i dont know what to do?Suggest AdviceDo you have some advice for this person? Visitor's Question: ok i've been crazy about a guy in college for 6months. I met him at badminton and that was the only time we ever saw each other - he's the first guy that I have ever been this crazy about - I went shy and nervous in his presence and didnt even get his number til 2 weeks ago (very unusual for me Im normally quite confident with guys) cos he was fixing my computer. Sadly his course was moved to another college 2hrs away - I was devastated and never worked up the courage to tell him how I felt. He moved on the 5th march but came back for a night out last week. I met up with him and afterwards when his friends were gone we hugged for the 1st time and ended up kissing. he walked me home and we talked for ages about the possibility of us - he was adamant that nothing cud happen because he's in another college (he's 22 doing a phD im in first yr almost 20) I tried to persuade him - but he's just so hurt from previous similar situations and doesnt want to hurt or take advantage of me (he said this). It was really hard for him to leave - I was actually crying at one point - when we kissed it was so perfect (he even remarked after our first kiss how good I was). I cant stop thinking about him and will have to see him in next month or so as Im his research case study. I know its only been a week but I just cant and dont want to move on...I think he may have been the one and I just let him slip through my fingers..i've been sooo down since he left (cryin all the time) please help me Our Suggestion: Communicate by phone, email or whatever if you can. This contact will make you feel a little better and also give you hope. But, don't barrage him with requests for meetings, dates, or anything else. He clearly wants a hands off relationship right now and if you push him things won't improve. As you said it's only been a week, so you owe it to yourself to let some time pass by before getting so much in the dumps. Remember he is under a lot of academic stress right now and needs space.
