Visitor's Question:
first off thanks for helping me, you guys are very kind to help out all these people with life and its struggles.
Anyway, my boyfriend and i have been dating for 11 months now which is the longest relationship we've both ever been in. i've never loved him more but this past month we've been having a lot of issues.(he's been picking fights and that kind of stuff) the other night i talked to him about what has been going on. i asked if he wanted to break up and he didnt know, i asked if that was the reason i hadnt heard "i love you" for a week...long story short, i didnt get any of the answers i had hoped for. the next day when i saw him, he apologized "for being a jerk" and said he wasnt going to break up with me. but now im wondering if i should just let him going, seeing that he doesnt feel the same way he used to, and "we" arent the same after the whole situation. it just hurts loving someone you know doesnt love you back.

Our Suggestion:
Loving couples work out issues.

That is what you two should do. Talk together gently and lovingly to figure out what is going on. Tell him that you are very disappointed and hurt that it seems he doesn't love you anymore but that you hope he can come back to loving you. You have to tell him exactly what you want... this is how you improve things in your life. Get things out in the open in a gentle and caring way.

It sounds like he realizes he acted like a jerk and that is his way of saying that he wants things to improve. Just go with the flow and things will probably work out.

Good luck! George
p.s. thanks for the thanks
