He left without warning

Visitor's Question:
Hi, My boyfriend and i have been together for 8 years, we bought a house over 2 years ago and could not have been happier, so we decided to try for a baby, and i fell pregnant nearly straight away. when the baby came along family life was perfect and we couldnt stop sayin how lucky we were to be so happy. We had been planning to get married and trying to sort out savings to go abroad and get married!

My bf is a very affectionate person and always showed me alot of love and was always tellin me how much he loved me and that if he had the money he would marry me 2moro, so of course i felt very secure in our relationship.

I started noticing a change in him about a fortnight ago when he became distant from me, but i didnt really think alot of it until he came home a week ago and told me he didnt think he loved me anymore and he left. He is now staying at his mothers house.

In the past week i have learnt that he may have felt like this since our baby was 4-5 months old (she is now 13months) and he said he didnt want to end up like his dad (he had affairs on his mum and left them when he was younger).

He still wants to see the baby but i cant believe that he does not love me anymore as i have been thinking back and he always was affectionate and loving towards me and always txtin that he loved me and missed me if i was out without him.

He is a very clean and tidy person and i would nearly go as far to say he had an ocd, on the otherhand i am very messy and leave things lying around that he has to pick up after me, also i have about 3 stone to loose and this is affecting my confidence which i also know annoys him.

Its now been 2 weeks and he does not seem to have changed his mind and i just dont know what i am supposed to do. I know beggin is the worst thing to do.

Our Suggestion:
It's really to early to know what is going on with him.

Two weeks isn't enough time to talk with him enough to know how he feels.

If you think your messiness and weight are problems you can see what happens if you fix them, if you want to do that.

Keep the lines of communication open and certainly don't beg as you realize.

Good luck! George
