Our Suggestion: I know it really hurts to be without him, breaking up is ALWAYS hard. That's why so many movies and songs and stories have been made about breaking up and wanting the other person back. It is perfectly normal for you to feel that way!! But let's look at this guy. He didn't even have the maturity to break up with you in person - he broke up over the phone. That's awful of him!! Not only that, but it wasn't even that he thought the relationship wouldn't work. It was that not only had he stopped working on your relationship, he had already gone out and fallen in love with someone else! That is another HUGE strike against him. How could he possibly have been romancing someone else while he was supposed to be dating you! That is a pretty bad betrayal of trust. You simply deserve far better than him. Right now you miss all the good parts of what he was and dream that those were the only parts of him. But things were obviously really wrong if he not only left but was already in someone else's arms before he bothered to call you up to tell you. I would really recommend putting some distance between you and him for now and giving yourself time to get over this. I really think you'll meet someone else wonderful, that really cares for you and who you can trust. To marry someone, you need to have them 100% dedicated to you, to fully honor, love, trust and respect each other.
